Learn How to Create a 3D Anaglyph Effect in Photoshop
In this quick Photoshop tutorial we’ll learn how to create a 3D anaglyph effect in Photoshop. This is not only a fun effect but you can also experiment with anaglyph red and cyan 3D glasses . This effect is recommended for black and white photos but also color images with decent contrast. You can even create a 3D version of your time-lapse video. Let’s see how to create this simple effect quickly.

Step 1 > Open your Image & Duplicate
First run Photoshop and open the image you want. Go to Layer > Duplicate Layer to create a new copy (image a).
Step 2 > Blending Options
Go to Layer > Layer Style > Blending Option and uncheck the Red channel in the main tab (image 2b).

2c) Disable the red channel and press OK to confirm.
Step 3 > Move the Layer
Move the second layer by 25-30px by pressing the right arrow shortcut in your keyboard.
Step 4 > Crop the Image
Pick the Crop Tool (C) on your toolbox and crop the edges where the layers don’t align.(image 4a).
Experiment with different images and save the image to create a 3D anaglyph photo. You can also test final work by using your anaglyph 3D glasses.
